Sometimes With Others

Sometimes With Others is a Berlin-based trio consisting of Mika Bajinski (vocals, guitar), Marie-Claire Schlameus (cello), and Kristof Hahn (lap steel guitar). Their promising debut album, NOUS, was released on Grand Chess Records in November 2020, amid the dark years of the pandemic. After a three-year hiatus, the single "Untitled/Know It" followed in early 2023, hinting at a more boisterous direction, a kind of kraut doom tempered by the heaviness of Bajinski's voice.

With their flowing, purely string-based sound, they weave a delicate web that transports the listener into a world of cinematic associations fed by the subconscious. A foretaste of a long-forgotten romance, a stroll in the night.

But don't underestimate the tension. For all balancing acts are based on suspense!

The group toured in various formations with Mick Harvey, JP Shilo and Steve Shelley through more than 14 countries and played at numerous international festivals such as Grauzone (The Hague), Pop-Kultur (Berlin) and Lyse Netter (Moss).

For the evening in the Galilee Church, Marie-Claire Schlameus and Mika Bajinski will play a special, reduced duo set with just guitar/vocals and cello.

Alienbaby Collective

Alienbaby Collective is the project name of Berlin-based guitarist and songwriter Liú Mottes. The project's sonic identity is both haunting and fragile—soft, unobtrusive vocals layer restless soundscapes. The result is music that feels both expansive and deeply introspective, inviting the listener into a tangible space full of friction and tenderness.
