Hereby, our invitation, we do invite you to be of our space world. The sound of joy is enlightenment.
Sun Ra is in outer space. Sunrise in outer space. Love for everybody.

Marshall Allen is best known for his work with Sun Ra. He has recorded primarily with Sun Ra since the late 1950s and has led the Sun Ra Arkestra since 1995, following Sun Ra's death in 1993 and John Gilmore's two years later. Critic Jason Ankeny describes Marshall as "one of the most distinctive and original saxophonists of the postwar era."

Let's celebrate the birthdays of the oldest practicing alto saxophonist and big band leader between the Sun and Jupiter and that of his extraterrestrial mentor from Saturn.

In some far off place
Many light years in space
We’ll wait for you.
Where human feet have never trod,
Where human eyes have never seen.
We'll build a world of abstract dreams
And wait for you.

Happy birthday in space! Galileo's Galiläa church ship is the place!
