The band plays acoustically but draws on everything (popular) music has to offer: swing meets rock, New Orleans sits alongside free jazz, collectivity alternates with solos, strenuous passages make way for lightness, musical anarchy stands next to formal rigor—yet above all, the group cultivates a crucial musical tradition: humor.
