Cheerful post-exotica with dubby home organ arrangements and eerie choreography.

„Die Lampe,“ a new solo project by sound artist and musician Christoph Rothmeier, performs live in a minimalist setup consisting of small electronic devices, theremin, and hand percussion. Musically, he creates dark scenarios of an absurd journey through an imaginary living room, where post-exotica, dub-like electronica, dreamy home organs, and headbanging moments with lampshades merge seamlessly.

Christoph Rothmeier lives and works between Berlin and the Auvergne region. Since 1996 he has realized numerous musical and artistic projects.
