fastmusic & Héloïse – concert evening
Opening Act: Héloïse
Héloïse – “One Click One Scroll”
Behind Héloïse is Zurich-based musician Sabina Leone. Her sound: a plastic organ in bright colors, with surprising No Wave scratches and post-Gaffa residues. Héloïse brings a punk energy without worn-out guitars, sounding like it's 1983—but not as if there hasn't been any evolution in the last 40 years. Leone sits at the drums and weaves percussive patterns from scraps of fabric hanging from the stage. Active since 1993, she previously made music in Italian with Sorelle Leone and crossovers with Wemean. Now she embodies Héloïse completely.
Main Act: fastmusic
fastmusic – “I want to love, and I love”
The debut album by Leipzig-based artist fastmusic paints a picture of the world as a slowly circling carousel right from the opening track. The musical and thematic aesthetics contradict today's hectic zeitgeist and offer a soundscape of deceleration and shoegaze romanticism – inspired by Mali blues and minimalism. The themes range from consumerism and "first world problems" to self-development and a "live and let live" ethos. In turbulent times, the album provides a soundtrack for a more relaxed life, even a digital detox.
