Under the title moved present the Jazz vocals Their new annual concert – an evening full of rhythm, emotion and musical diversity.
The JazzVocals' program takes the audience on a journey through a wide range of emotions: sometimes exhilaratingly groovy, sometimes delicate and touching, always full of energy and expression. Because "moved" means more than just movement – it represents what music does to us: it makes us dance, dream, laugh, and sometimes simply enjoy the quiet moments.
The Jazz vocals They have been a fixture of the Berlin a cappella scene since 1991. Around 30 singers combine musical quality, team spirit, and creative freedom. Their repertoire ranges from jazz standards to rock and folk arrangements, all the way to groovy R&B. With improvisations, vocal percussion, and bold vocal experiments, they give every performance that special something.
The choir has long since made a name for itself internationally: whether in Russia, Spain, or Guatemala – JazzVocals has brought home prizes such as silver in Lisbon in 2019 and gold at the World Choral Cup in Calella in 2024. Under the direction of Matthias Knoche, who succeeded founder Susanne Faatz in 2017, combine Berlin charm with impressive musical passion.
