Sintonia Attunement I: Nour Sokhon + Interspecifics

SEEDS

SEEDS is a quartet formed in October 2024. It brings together poet, musician, and cellist Tamara Walcott with the trio Rasha Ragab, Christoph Nicolaus, and Lucio Capece (I lost myself in finding you, Rahma Quartet). Capece, who plays bass clarinet, composes the compositions. The current project is inspired by Tamara Walcott's poem "Poem for Oryza," which tells the story of an African rice variety brought to the Americas by enslaved women in their braids. In conjunction with a poem by Rumi, selected by Rasha Ragab, SEEDS reflects on themes of self-sacrifice, connection, survival, and hope in the face of colonial experiences and contemporary displacement. The texts will be read, sung, and interpreted by Tamara and Rasha.
Tavare + Geistæ

Live @Galiläakirche: Tavare is a Berlin-based trio that has been playing stripped-down, minimalist music together since 2020: slow, fragmented songs with sparse vocal lines and harmonies reminiscent of both '90s slowcore and contemporary pop forms. Their debut single, "Ghosts," was released on Champion Version in November 2024, followed by their first album, "Too Small To Be So High," in June 2025 on God Unknown Records, Cruel Nature, and Katuktu Collective. Tavare consists of Aidan Baker, Tristen Bakker, and Angela Muñoz, who are active alongside other projects such as Nadja, VROUW!, Otolitos, and Hypnodrone Ensemble.
