Data Center & Schneider TM – Audiovisual Live Experience

In 2005, Lillevan, Marc Weiser, and Dirk Dresselhaus embarked on an extensive tour of Southeast Europe as Rechenzentrum & Schneider TM, organized by the Goethe Institute. The trip took them through countries such as Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Bosnia, and Albania. During the tour, they performed free improvisations as well as combinations of pieces from both projects.

Almost 20 years later, there is October 11, 2024 a unique concert with a contemporary update of this concept: Dirk Dresselhaus interprets selected pieces from the last two Schneider TM albums (Event horizon & The 8 of Space) on specially prepared guitar, with electronics and vocals. Combined with percussion and vocals by Marc Weiser and video works by Lillevan, a new audiovisual live experience emerges, further developing the original concept and creating new materiality.
