ALLAN PRASKIN has played with modern jazz legends such as Bobby Hutcherson and Harold Land. He was a key figure in the New York loft jazz scene and made his first recording for the renowned ESP label. As a member of Gunter Hampel’s Galaxie Dream Band, he moved to Europe, quickly establishing himself as one of the most active jazz musicians here. Today, he is especially prominent in Berlin’s jazz scene.

Praskin’s unique phrasing on the alto saxophone is his signature, along with his outstanding compositions. Audiences can look forward to a top program of modern jazz.
