At the interface between experimental pop and electronics, the phenomenon of toechter (DE/DK) unfolds in such a way that Rolling Stone even describes the result as the “Future of Music”. Katrine Grarup Elbo, Lisa Marie Vogel and Marie-Claire Schlameus use only analogue sound sources (such as violin, viola, cello and voices) that are processed electronically. However, this strict specification in the production process - which applies both in the studio and on stage - does not result in any conceptual overhang, on the contrary: toechter's feeling for melodies and emotionally designed soundscapes is at least as pronounced as her will to abstraction. After toechter's debut album »Zephyr« was already awarded the German Record Critics' Prize, the album »Epic Wonder« followed, which was released in February 2024 on the Berlin label Morr Music.
