Band 1: Nic Krog is a musician and sound artist whose signature is a volatile blend of bass-heavy club music intertwined with subversive sound art and diaristic spoken word. Their work deals with themes of isolation, identity, and transformation. Krog’s early releases as Misantrop on Opal Tapes and their own Foul-Up label traced the effects of life in the hedonistic capital of Berlin on the self-proclaimed introvert from small-town Denmark. With the release of the audio play “Perfect Pattern” (Psychic Liberation, 2025), the artist shed their former alias and focused in on a raw and self-aware kind of sonic self-portraiture, taking cues from 20th century experimental music, 90s queer house tracks, and the storytelling style of soap operas and Jean-Luc Godard’s “Le Mépris”, resulting in something all their own. The artist’s debut album “Reproaching the Absurd” has also recently been reissued by Opal Tapes and Foul-Up under their own name. Krog’s latest EP, “Better Failing”, takes the listener on a journey out of frustration and disillusionment into a newfound joy over the wreckage of old patterns.

Band 2: André Uhl is a musician and futurologist based in Berlin. André merges noise and synthesizer lines converging them into dark, driving and cinematic pieces of music. His productions combine detailed and spatial audio design with simple, yet haunting melodies. André holds a master’s degree in futures studies, a fact that reflects in his compositions and leaves traces in his sound: tales of the hazy past and the twilight of the future. André's debut album I hope the roof flies off, and I get sucked up into space., released on Neofakt, is accompanied by a booklet of 13 short stories, each by a different writer. His 2nd album Relax and Implode has been released as a collaboration of Neofakt and the Berlin label Martin Hossbach. His 3rd and most recent album Every Step Causes a Crack appeared on Manchester-based label Natural Sciences. Furthermore, André has released music on labels like Osàre! Editions, Kashual Plastik, Weltschmerz Verlag, and Detroit Underground.

Band 3: Working together as PERIODE since 2016, the duo of THOMAS WINKLER and Kreidler founding member ANDREAS REIHSE has been refining its delicate sound over the course of 6 releases with the latest Grapes of Nothingness on Karlrecords in 2026. The ingredients are as simple as effective: an old 70+ Telecaster guitar with a few effect pedals, a drum machine, an audio interface that is connected to an overloaded laptop. WINKLER’s guitar patterns have a fragmented, almost haphazard connotation, searching in a shimmer of reverb until REIHSE’s beats set in to reveal structure. There are some apparent references here: a good portion of Les Disques du Crépuscule, some kraut-esque electronica, even a smidgen of MORRICONE / Spaghetti Western, all blending into a kind of Musique Noir — yet these serve only as a set of orientational coordinates, rather than aesthetic quotations. Is it a trance? Or a dance? Yes.
