Resonance - Reverberation - Three different approaches to acoustics in church architecture.

Antez "No es" - percussion, objects

The basic of this sound action is to play the sympathies of the room's resonant structure, shaped by its architectural singularity, and whose narrative path remains permeable to the present moment. This is achieved by using exclusively acoustic means of sound production generated by the body's movements.

Quentin Tolimieri "Pulses/Resonances" - piano

Tolimieri’s music for piano is oftentimes extremely minimal and reduced, sitting closer to sound sculpture than to the rhetorically oriented forms of traditional concert music. By the removal of various historically coded syntactic structures from his work (for example, harmony, melody, counterpoint, rhythmic gesture, and similar compositional elements), his compositions attempt to reveal the piano as a pure sound making instrument.

Seiji Morimoto "Breathing Room" - sine-waves, guitar amp

Breathing Room: Three loudspeakers send sine-wave sounds whose frequency increases steplessly from 0 to 500Hz with different tempos and then drops back to 0Hz. This triggers a process that makes the room resonate. The visitors hear and feel a constantly changing interference soundscape.
